The first step you want to take is to get into the habit of always being organized, just because you are going to work on cleaning something up and organizing it now doesn’t mean it will always stay this way. You need to actually do your part and help yourself by cleaning anything that you leave behind. Other then that you can start off by looking into getting a few shelves to place around your home to store things in. The more simpler a home looks like the better it will be overall, this is why I recommend getting shelves around your home first. I see that in my home they work very well, sometimes the shelves inside are not completely organized due to me being a little lazy, but all in all the home looks good when guests are over.

There are also many different types of shelves you can get and work with around your home, each type will bring some kind of benefit based on what you are looking for. There are shelves that can be placed in all kinds of areas and attract all kinds of styles that are already floating around the room. You simply have to find the right ones and match it up with a room or area in your home. Garage shelves are becoming really popular as well, they bring in most organization, some of which can even be placed on the ceiling to increase the amount of space on the floor. If you are looking to put some things away you can do this with storage bins that can be bought in quantities, I did this for my home and placed it anywhere I had free space and it works like a charm. I put away anything I don’t need for the season and this frees up a ton of space for me to actually enjoy, it leaves the home feeling fresh and new, so I highly recommend this as well. There are also a lot more different types of techniques, you simply have to look into them and be creative and use the space you have as efficiently as possible and you will find them.
